There are 2 climbing walls at Aerial Adventures. Each is 40' tall. Climbers utilize a variety of cleats and toe holds to reach the
top.
On wall utilizes an 'auto belay' system. The 'auto belay' mechanism keeps constant tension on the climber's harness making it
easier to ascend. When the climber wants to descend, he/she simply pushes back off the wall and the 'auto belay' slowly lowers the
climber to the ground.
The other wall uses a 'live belay' setup. This means that the climber's harness is attached to a rope and pulley
that is belayed by Aerial Adventures staff. Some climbers prefer 'live belay' because if they slip, the belay team keeps them from
descending and they can continue to climb.
In addition to the climbing walls, there is a 40' climb on a pole that gets access to our
300' long zip line.
